PUBG Mobile India has some good news for all fans of the game. The company has released a new poster on its social media platforms that reveals that the game will indeed launch as Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Last week, PUBG Mobile India posted a teaser on its official Youtube channel, only to delete it soon after. The official teaser poster confirms the leak. The launch timeline has not been revealed yet.
The official poster shows PUBG Mobile India coming as Battlegrounds Mobile India. The social media handle of PUBG Mobile India has also been changed to Battlegrounds Mobile India.
PUBG Mobile India has been in the works for quite some time but the company is yet to announce its availability details officially. The original PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite were banned in the country last year due to the government’s crackdown on apps posing security risks. Months after the ban, PUBG’s parent South Korea-based Krafton announced a departure from China’s Tencent Games to provide a new version of PUBG Mobile that is designed for Indian users. However, the company has been reportedly facing numerous hurdles from the government over its return
Further, Krafton said that Battlegrounds Mobile India will have a battle royale experience and it will have a “period of pre-registration” before it launches in India. The game will also be available only to Indian users. “Krafton will collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later,” the company said through a press release.“With privacy and data security being a top priority, KRAFTON will be working with partners, to ensure data protection and security, at each stage. This will ensure privacy rights are respected, and all data collection and storage will be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and for players here,” it added.
The hype is begins with official announcement of relaunch of PUBG MOBILE INDIA.
