The West Bengal government on Monday extended the Covid-induced restrictions all across the state till 15 July in view of the ongoing situation. However, additional relaxations have been given.

1.All beauty parlors salons will stay open from 11-6 pm. Offices to stay open with 50 per cent strength and all staff members and customers have to be vaccinated. All bazaars and markets to open from 6:00 am-12 noon. All other shops will stay open from 11:00-8:00 ppm. 

2.Gyms to remain open with 50 per cent strength, from 6:00 am -10:00 am and 4:00 pm-8:00 pm.

3.Private and government buses can operate from 50 per cent strength. Offices can work with 50 per cent strength from 10:00 am-4:00 pm.

5.Bank to open between 10:00 am-2:00 pm.

6.Trains are yet to resume operations in the state.

West Bengal has registered 1,836 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to a bulletin by the state government on Sunday. The state also saw 2,022 recoveries, pushing recoveries 14,55,453. With 29 deaths in the last 24 hours, the cumulative toll reached 17,612. Currently, there are 21,884 active COVID-19 cases in West Bengal.
